Patrick formed TheEventsPros after working in agency for 8 years and prior to that 10 years as a summer camp director in the USA. Patrick took the skills he learnt in America and used them to help clients such as Sport Northern Ireland, the Department for Communities, and Finance, IKEA, Methodist College Belfast, St Malachey’s College Belfast, Belfast City Council, Ards & North Down Borough Council and many more.
It’s fair to say, those 10 years in America played a formative role in his personal and professional life. So, why should you trust and hire a former summer camp director to design and deliver your events or team building days?

Selflessness. We understand it’s not about us, it’s about your audience, you won’t see us entering awards, it’s just not in our nature. You will see us on site first thing double and triple checking everything is in place. You’ll also see us on site when you leave, ensuring that it’s put back the way we found it as a minimum, although it’s usually tidier!

Patrick is the driving force behind TheEventsPros.com, specialising in the strategic delivery of high-stakes, large-scale events. With a background in project leadership and media production, he possesses the resilience to manage complex logistics—from multi-day regional festivals for 2,000+ attendees to high-profile celebratory homecomings.
Having partnered with the Northern Ireland Executive for over a decade—including DfC, DoF, and TEO—Patrick is an expert at translating government policy into seamless, "boots-on-the-ground" reality. He excels at navigating the technical and safety requirements of public-sector contracts, always ensuring that every event reaches its full potential.
Gillian McKeown – Strategic Advisor Leadership & Social Impact
Gillian brings 20+ years of high-level operational experience to TheEventsPros. As the Director of Operations at SistersIN, she ensures our large-scale events—particularly those involving youth and elite athletes—are designed with a 'leadership-first' legacy. Gillian advises our team on social value integration, gender inclusivity, and strategic partnerships across Northern Ireland’s public and private sectors.
Chris Ross – Technical Consultant - Audio Visual
Chris is our technical architect, bringing global experience in designing elite-level AV infrastructure. From seamless hybrid conferences to high-stakes live broadcasts, he identifies and resolves technical bottlenecks before they appear. A keen photographer with a keen eye for detail, Chris ensures your event’s digital legacy is captured with high-definition precision.
